Quick Draw SF: Monthly Live Art Party | SoMa
The Bay Area’s Paint Pens Collective and Never Ending Radical Dude present Quick Draw SF, a monthly live-drawing event co-curated by Shayna Yasuhara and Jason Furie.
Each month, ten artists are selected to come draw and sell their creations on the “art wall” available on the cheap. Everyone is welcome to come and draw, so bring your sketchbooks.
There’s also a “merch table” where artists sell swag such as prints, books, and original art. Credit cards accepted.
It’s summer blockbuster movie season and it’s got Quick Draw all excited about their favorite movies and TV shows. Come by with your favorites in mind to create, share, sell, and buy all your favorites. Got a raging “Throner” for this season of GAME OF THRONES? Draw it. Still coming down from your Guardians of the Galaxy high? Draw it. Itching for season 3 of Orange is the New Black this month? Draw it. Watching old as episodes of Quantum Leap and Miami Vice on Netflix? Draw it.
