Event Details

Come to Glen Park Station for a musical benefit for Japan. Admission is free, but donations for the Red Cross Japan Relief Fund will be gratefully accepted.

Live Music:

Pocket Full of Rye is an acoustic trio comprised of cello, guitar and girl. PFoR has played for SF BART goers, NoisePop Street Food Festivalers and Dolores Park sun-bathers. They’ve been described as baroque-rock, 50s-ish, and front-porch blues-ey. They also like to cover the Misfits.

SF string band The Human Condition performs original, modern-day roots music, creating a sound as varied as the world they inhabit. Rowdy barnstormers and driving road songs are offset by calmer, brooding ballads that evoke lazy days and restless nights. Guitar, mandolin and upright bass are joined by vocal harmonies and harmonica in a familiar palette which is cast in a new light by innovative songwriting and lyrical imagery.
