Jazz and Blues have a close relationship in the history of American music. What other two genres have better shaped the way we get down in da club? So much of modern pop music owes a debt to both that royalties just aren’t enough.
Join the folks at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco as they celebrate the mammoth majesty that is the Blues, with a special focus on its influence on Jazz. The film features artists like Son House, B. B. King, and Art Blakey. Followed by a live performance by the Klipptones.
