SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
A beloved and long-running Yerba Buena Gardens Festival tradition, the annual Jenny Lind Concert showcases the most extraordinary young sopranos from Sweden.
This year’s program features mezzosoprano Karin Osbeck, the 2016 Jenny Lind Scholarship recipient awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. A student at the University College of Opera in Stockholm, she’ll be singing classic arias accompanied by pianist Matilda Lindholm, a standout at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Presented with the Consulate General of Sweden, the Jenny Lind Concert offers a thrilling peek at the future of opera.
