AfroBeats at the Lake has returned for our fifth year and we’re excited to celebrate with you. This year we’re hoping that Oakland is ready for this family friendly event taking place at Snow Park in Oakland on September 2, 2023.
Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite $10 entry/ kids under 16 enter free. No one will be turned away for lack of funds but we want to make sure our vendors and performers are compensated for their craft. For more information about supporting the work visit the Instagram or the Linktree.
What is AfroBeats? It’s more than a genre of music. AfroBeats is trending as one of the #1 genres in the world. This is largely coupled with its popularity on social media over the years. Artists with hits like WizKid featuring Tems -“Essence”, Burna Boy – “Last Last”, and Davido featuring Musa Keys – “Unavailable” transcended to the ears of everyone around the world.
