Event Details

This immersive family-friendly, hands-on event merges nature, science, and art for an afternoon of fun (and education) for insect enthusiasts of any age. Free to all, attendees will be able to interact with live animals from the Insect Discovery Lab and meet a variety of arthropods from around the world. Some not-to-be-missed guests include the Australian Walking Stick, Hissing Cockroach, and fan-favorite Giant African Millipede. Attendees will be able to make insect-inspired art guided by local artists and taste award-winning mealworm chocolate chip cookies.
