SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2026
The 2026 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Hermán Olivera y Orquesta Taíno to kick off its 26th season. The Festival features over 100 free performances from May to November in Downtown San Francisco.
Bring your lunch and slather on your sunscreen for a shiny new season of Poetic Tuesdays. Curated by Litquake festival coordinator and poet Jen Siraganian, the monthly collaboration between Litquake: San Francisco’s Literary Festival and the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival features the Bay Area’s poets and musicians. Each Poetic Tuesday starts at 12:30 and includes four award-winning poets and one incredible musical artist. Don’t miss it!
This program will feature Tria Andrews, Rebecca Foust, Bill Mayer, Bruce Snider, and musical guest Naima Shalhoub.
